- Conferences
on land and water management issues designed to update conservation
professionals with the latest in conservation technology and practices.

Conference providing members with the opportunity to meet and
exchange views with an international network of professional conservationists.
- Local
workshops, field days, and tours organized by local chapters offering
first hand opportunities to observe innovative conservation technologies.
- The
Certified Professionals in Erosion and Sediment Control program
(CPESC), sponsored by SWCS in conjunction with the International
Erosion Control Association, which provides training and certification
for individuals in the area of erosion and sediment control and
urban water quality.
- A
key to SWCSs educational program includes a series of award-winning
conservation booklets, "Environmental Adventures." These
booklets help elementary school students understand human relationships
with the natural world.
