The
Soil & Water Conservation Society, All Ohio Chapter, is offering
a $1,000 scholarship to students enrolled in either a two-year or
four-year course of study with emphasis on conservation or environmentally
related curriculum.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. An Ohio resident,
2. Enrolled in an Ohio college or university,
3. Pursuing a two or four year degree in a "natural resources
conservation" related program
Examples:
Agronomy, Forestry, Wildlife, Biology, Geology, Soil Science, Land-use
Planning, Landscape Architecture, Ag Engineer, Resource Mgt., Environ.
Engineering, Wildlife Mgt., Technicians, Plant Science
Other
fields of study will be considered subject to approval of the Scholarship
Committee. The All Ohio Chapter reserves the right to not award
a scholarship if no well-qualified applications are received.
CONDITIONS OF SCHOLARSHIP
Scholarship recipient must or will attend an Ohio college or university.
The scholarship award is for $1,000 and will be processed through
the scholarship or student aid office and will be available for
use during the recipients next academic year. The scholarship recipient
will be invited to attend the summer meeting of the All Ohio Chapter,
as it's guest, to be recognized.
